With a backdrop unlike anything seen in the UK apart from maybe on the classes old stomping ground when passing through the Lune Gorge, the second photostop of the tour and 87003-0 stands at the rural station of Bunovo, which is 60km from Sofia by rail, en route to Pirdop for the first loco change. The Bulgarian additions of a cowcatcher, rear view mirrors and sideways facing horns do give the locos a rather alien appearance when compared with their traditional British look however compared to sitting in a scrap yard, that's a small price to pay!
