Back in 1997 when this site first started out, the railway scene was not what it is today. Privatisation was in full swing and hope was building
as the future finally started to look brighter for the railways. Since then, the scene has changed beyond all recognition and the aim of this
site is to keep track of the current modern day railway scene in the UK. Some say we have never had it so good...
