Between Edinburgh, Glasgow Queen Street, North Berwick, Bathgate, Dunblane, Bridge of Allen, Stirling, the Fife Circle, Markinch, Falkirk and all intermediate stations between. Allows unlimited travel on the Glasgow Underground Exceptions? Not before 09.15 Monday - Friday Availability? Standard Class only, 3 in 7 days. May be upgraded to First Class on FSR 'intercity' trains that carry Weekend First accomodation.
'Discovery' Unlimited travel on the famous 'Clockwork Orange' (Glasgow Subway). 1 day only. After 09.30 Mon-Sat, all day Sunday. £1.90. Freedom of Scotland Travelpass What? Unlimited travel within Scotland. Qualifies holder for 10% discount on Caledonian Sleeper travel tickets. Where? All operators trains as far south as Carlisle (Virgin) and Berwick-upon-Tweed (GNER/Virgin). Also selected bus and ferry services (see FSR website - link below). Exceptions? Not before 09.15 Monday - Friday apart from Glasgow-Mallaig/Oban/Fort William and Inverness-Kyle of Lochalsh, Wick and Thurso. Travel also permitted in the seated portion of the 0450 Edinburgh-Fort William sleeper. Availability? Standard Class only, 4 in 8 days and 8 in 15 days. Purchase from any National Rail train station or online at www.firstscotrail.com. Upgrade to First Class available on 'intercity' trains with Weekend First accommodation.
Highland Rover What? Unlimited travel on selected highland rail services. Where? Glasgow-Oban/Fort William/Mallaig, Aviemore-Inverness-Kyle of Lochalsh/Wick and Thurso along with Inverness-Aberdeen. Also included citylink buses between Inverness and Fort William plus Caledonian MacBrayne ferry services between Oban and Mull, Mallaig and Skye. Exceptions? May not be used before 0915 Monday-Friday. No restrictions at weekends or public holidays. Availability? Standard Class only, 4 in 8 days . Purchase from any National Rail train station or online at www.firstscotrail.com. Upgrade to First Class available on 'intercity' trains with Weekend First accommodation.
Strathclyde Day Tripper What? Unlimited travel in the Strathclyde PTE area out of Glasgow Central and Queen Street. Where? All train services within Strathclyde services, most buses and some ferries in the same area. See route map here. Exceptions? Only valid after 09.00 network-wide Monday-Friday. NO restrictions Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays. Availability? Standard class only. Purchase from all staffed stations and the travel centre in Glasgow Central station. Cannot purchase on-train or on-bus.
Roundabout Glasgow What? Unlimited travel on selected SPT routes for 1 day along with the Subway and discount on the city tour bus. Where? See route map here. Exceptions? Only valid after 09.00 network-wide Monday-Friday. NO restrictions Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays. Availability? From any staffed ticket office within the validity area along with all SPT travel centres.
